The headquarters building of Neway Group, a renowned industrial valve manufacturer in China, opened on Dec 9 in Suzhou New District, Jiangsu province.
Founded in 1997, Neway Group has grown into a manufacturer of valves, numerical control equipment, and industrial materials with an expected gross sale of 5 billion yuan ($72.5 million) this year.
"The launching of the headquarters building is an important event in Neway's history," said Wang Baoqing, president of Neway Group, at the opening ceremony. "The building will surely boost the development of the advanced manufacturing industry in Suzhou New District and promote the intelligent manufacturing industry in the district to a new level."
On the same day, the Neway Radisson Hotel was also opened to the public. It has 138 guest rooms and suites and will offer a comfortable living environment for business travelers and vacationers in Suzhou New District.
Over the past years, the district has focused on developing a headquarters economy, an important part of its pursuit of high quality development.
