Mando Chassis and Components Co, solely funded by its South Korean parent company, registered annual output of 2.76 billion yuan ($390 million) in 2019 and has been recognized by Suzhou New District as a pioneer company in terms of output value and tax payment in recent years.
Following a transformation and upgrade, the company is planning to focus on the research and development of steering and braking systems for self-driving and new energy vehicles and will invest 1.2 billion yuan in the next five years.
The company's ongoing cooperation with a renowned auto brand in Shanghai is expected to increase its output value by 3 billion yuan in the future.
