The Medical School of Nanjing University unveiled a clinical college in Suzhou Science and Technology Town, Suzhou New District, Oct 20, local media reported.
The two institutions will carry out in-depth cooperation in disciplinary construction, talent training and scientific research, such as the medical school helping the Affiliated Suzhou Science and Technology Town Hospital of Nanjing Medical University set up a central lab and the hospital taking charge of Nanjing University's infirmary affairs.
In the future, faculty members and students at Nanjing University's Suzhou Campus can also enjoy a green channel for medical treatment and regular medical security at the town hospital.
Zhang Junfeng, vice-president of Nanjing University, said the town hospital is known for its advanced development concept, high-caliber medical teams, and cutting-edge infrastructure and medical equipment.
Zhang said he hopes Nanjing University can integrate its Suzhou campus with the surrounding friendly medical environment and explore new and innovative development possibilities.
