German display system provider to increase investment to SND's subsidiary

VIA Optronics, a production and service center of a German display system provider, signed an agreement on July 6 to increase their investment to their Suzhou New District subsidiary by $30 million on the 10th anniversary of its establishment.

According to the plan, the company will introduce a series of new projects, including a display touch screen project. The output revenue of the new projects is expected to increase by 800 million yuan ($123.48 million).

VIA Optronics (Suzhou) was established on July 6, 2011 in SND. It achieved about 1 billion yuan in turnover in 2020.

Established in 2005 and headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany, VIA Optronics produces products that are used in the industrial, automobile, and consumer electronics industries.

SND has consistently valued economic and trade exchanges with Germany, as well as other European countries. It is home to more than 1,700 foreign invested enterprises, among which nearly 100 are German enterprises.
