A startup station, established jointly by Suzhou Innovation Park and China Construction Bank, was unveiled in Suzhou New District on July 22.
The startup station is located in the innovation center for integrated circuits in Suzhou Innovation Park, covering an area of 3,000 square meters. Its 1,700-sq m first phase has been put into use, including about 100 free office spaces, as well as multifunctional areas for exhibitions, road shows, and leisure. The 1,300 sq m second phase will be put into use by the end of September.
The startup station plans to build a business environment for over 5,000 companies in the next five years by offering financial support to small and medium-sized science and technology innovation companies, as well as by building an online and offline incubation ecosystem integrating finance, technology, industry, and guidance.
The startup station will offer free apartments, free working space, free start-up services, credit loans, and other supports to introduced companies. To date, it has attracted 12 companies, such as Zancotech, and Rowey Intelligent Technology (Suzhou) Co.
Established in SND, the station will contribute to Suzhou's innovation and entrepreneurship, cultivating more high-quality startups, as well as incubating more local unicorn companies for Suzhou.
