Xushuguan Economic Development Zone in Suzhou New District signed an agreement with the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Soochow University on Aug 9 to cooperate in the field of biomedicine.
The cooperation agreement will involve the construction of technological innovation platforms, the transformation and promotion of technological achievements, as well as talent cultivation.
According to the agreement, the college will assist Xushuguan Economic Development Zone to establish technological innovation platforms, including a product research and development platform, a common technology R&D platform, as well as a public technical service platform.
The zone and the college will jointly build scientific and technological experimental demonstration bases, as well as achievement incubation and transformation bases.
In addition, they will also conduct extensive cooperation in biomedicine, spanning technological research, achievement transformation, project application, products development, and industrialization implementation.
The college will also provide training for talents in biomedicine, as well as offer technical services to biomedical companies. The zone will provide internships, practical training, and employment opportunities to graduates from the college.
SND released a three-year plan for the high-quality development of the high-end medical devices and biomedicine industry in 2020.
Xushuguan will follow the plan to further enhance its biomedicine industry in the future.
