A collaborative innovation center in Beijing was officially launched on Sept 5 to explore a new development pattern and support Suzhou New District's efforts to develop modern industries.
Located in Haidian district, Beijing, the collaborative innovation center will be operated and managed by SND Group. It will provide collaborative investment promotion, industrial consulting, and industrial operation services.
The center will function as a collaborative innovation demonstration platform that integrates the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, entrepreneurial incubation, as well as publicity and communication to promote the high-quality development of the regional economy.
During the launch ceremony, the center and the Suzhou Chamber of Commerce in Beijing signed cooperation agreements covering new-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, medical equipment and biomedicine, integrated circuits, digital economy, low-carbon, and other key industries.
The center also signed cooperation agreements with universities and institutes. It will cooperate with the Research Institute for Environmental Innovation (Suzhou) of Tsinghua University on environmental protection and related technologies. The center will also cooperate with the Software Engineering Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences on digital economy.
