SND signs deals on 68 projects worth $8.14b in Shenzhen

The 2021 Suzhou New District Coordination Conference on Innovation and Development of the Greater Bay Area was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province on Oct 18.

Agreements on 68 projects, worth 52.2 billion yuan ($8.14 billion) in investment, were signed at the conference between the district and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including industry-city integration projects, headquarters projects, scientific and technological talent projects, industrial projects, and fund projects.

The medical device industrial park Jiangsu Medpark and the Tencent digital industrial base projects were promoted at the conference, showcasing the district's capability in industries like medicine and digital economy.

A water sports health and technology laboratory project jointly established by the district and Deep Dive, an integrated sports company, was also unveiled at the conference, which will major in water sports scientific training research, sports data analysis, and physical examinations.

The Chinese Innovation Center for Respiratory Intelligent Health project was established at the conference, which will facilitate the management and prevention of respiratory diseases in the Yangtze River Delta region.

A batch of innovation platforms were also unveiled at the conference, such as the Suzhou center of Chinese-Singaporean high-level talent exchange center, as well as the YRD sub-center of the Asia-Pacific exchange and cooperation fund.
