Shushan village in Suzhou New District, Suzhou has created a smart rural service platform to improve grassroots governance.
Shushan village in Tong'an town currently has 370 households and over 80 businesses. The estimated number of tourists in 2021 was 1.25 million. In order to improve basic governance and refined management, the Suzhou Shushan Smart Rural Service Platform has been developed.
The smart platform is a comprehensive rural management service system that includes subsystems for rural governance, rural civilization, and rural services. It utilizes information technology to establish a new model of companion-oriented smart rural development.
The platform relies on internet technology to achieve Internet Plus management for village affairs, Party affairs, and rural resources. It has an online office where procedures for agricultural-related matters can be published, making it more convenient for villagers to handle their affairs.
The platform is also capable of intelligent recognition and analysis of uncivilized behaviors such as unauthorized operations, disorderly stacking and dumping, and illegal constructions. This enhances the precision level of rural governance. A credit system is established to incentivize villagers and tourists to participate in civilized activities, gradually fostering a positive cultural atmosphere, life style, and behavioral habit.
The platform also utilizes the rural cloud property management system to provide property management services for villagers.
