A group of enterprises based in Suzhou New District have played active roles in helping curb the recent COVID-19 resurgence, local media outlets reported.
Formula Technology, which boasts a significant share in the domestic market for fiber consumables for COVID-19 and antigen test kits, has been working overtime over the past two years to ensure a sufficient supply of materials for its customers across the country, such as government-mandated manufacturers of COVID-19 and antigen test kits including Lepu Medical Technology (Beijing) Co and Hangzhou Alltest Biotech Co.
The IPE center for clinical laboratory and Oncocare Life, both located in SND, were among the first organizations to receive third-party COVID-19 nucleic acid testing qualifications in China.
The IPE lab has reserved roughly 200,000 new tubes and reagents for sampling and screening. Since March 14, the lab has tested an average of 20,000 tubes per day, issuing more than 10 million test results.
Oncocare Life urgently mobilized more than 200,000 reagent materials as well as dozens of inspectors from its Harbin and Nanjing branches. It has also teamed up special nucleic acid testing members, who worked around the clock to ensure the testing of 15,000 tubes per day and issued a total of 5 million test results.
