Tram Line T5 put on agenda in SND

A new tram line traveling across Suzhou New District in East China's Jiangsu province is on its way.

The first phase of SND Tram Line T5 is now open for public review. Upon completion, it will make travel more convenient for nearby residents.

The first phase of the SND Tram Line T5 starts from the east gate of the Nanjing University Suzhou Campus and moves eastward along West Putuoshan Road, connecting with the SND Tram Line T2 at Putuoshanlu Station.

With a total of three stations, the 1.8-kilometer-long line involves an investment of 190 million yuan ($28.16 million) and is expected to be completed within 12 months.
