More than 30 representatives from Suzhou New District will be seeking cooperation in France and Germany from Dec 9 to 18.
On Dec 12, SND delegates held a Sino-French cooperation conference on sustainable development in Paris, attracting about representatives from about 100 French companies and institutions, including CCI Paris Ile-de-France, HEC Paris, Electricite De France, and Deloitte.
During the conference, SND and Deloitte China signed a strategic agreement on strengthening cooperation in SND's key industries.
Delegates of Lexy, a domestic home appliance giant based in SND, and German company STIHI signed a sales contract worth $20 million.

On Dec 13, SND delegates visited the Chinese Consulate General in Lyon, where they talked with over 20 French entrepreneurs and signed a cooperation agreement with the Lyon Chinese Commerce Federation.

The delegates also visited the global headquarters of BioMerieux in Lyon. The biotechnology firm established Merieux (Suzhou) Biological Products Co in SND in 2019.
The delegates flew overnight to Munich Airport in Germany in pursuit of more productive negotiations and potential cooperation.
