Suzhou New District (SND) in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province will launch a series of job fairs starting from Jan 22 to attract more high-level talent.
Over 300 employers, including the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Research Institute for Environmental Innovation (Suzhou) Tsinghua, and NationalChip Science and Technology Co, will offer more than 15,000 jobs at these fairs.
An online job fair will run from Jan 22 to Feb 19, while three livestreaming sessions focusing on the photonics industry will be held from Jan 29 to Feb 19. During the live streams, nine companies in the industry, including Suzhou Everbright Photonics Co, Suzhou TFC Optical Communication Co, and Canadian Solar, will offer jobs.
A physical job fair will be held every day from Jan 29 to Feb 5. People who are seeking jobs can also learn about the SND's preferential talent-related policies and have experts help them develop a career plan on the spot.
To date, Suzhou New District has over 298,000 talents, including 305 postdoctoral researchers and 5,000 returnees.
