Suzhou New District plans to attract 280 high-quality industrial projects in 2023, according to a plan released by the district government on Jan 29.
Based on the plan, SND will organize eight campaigns, including hosting world-level conventions, establishing overseas investment promotion centers, and sending about 30 delegations to seek global cooperation.
In 2022, SND attracted 135 100-million-yuan ($14.83 million) projects, up 116 percent year-on-year. A total of 1,210 innovative companies were founded in the district, bringing in 380 certified high-tech projects.
