Mongolian dance drama competes for Wenhua Award in Shanghai

The Mongolian dance drama Little Heroic Sisters of the Grassland was showcased at the 12th China Art Festival in Shanghai and competed for the 16th Wenhua Award, the most prestigious award for professional arts, from May 29 to 30.
This original folk dance drama was created by the Inner Mongolia Art University and tells the true story of two Mongolian girls who risked their lives to protect the property of their local community.
The dance drama was held at the Shanghai Poly Grand Theatre on May 29, attracting more than 2,000 people with its unique artistic charm. It will also be performed at Shanghai Zhongshan Park on May 31.
The drama showcased the Mongolian prairie sisters' spirit of devotion through their heroic deeds, inspiring people's spirit of collectivism.
