Thailand-based Charoen Pokphand Group – the country's biggest agriculture conglomerate and a major producer of pork -- signed strategic partnerships on June 1 with Horinger New Area in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, in a move involving the industrial chain of local pig industry, according to local reports.
Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group, also known as CP Group, has built up close relationships with Horinger since September 2015.
Officials said the company will cooperate with local companies in the logistics supply chain, financial investment and in slaughter processing to promote the pig industry in the area.
