Qiangu Masong, a drama also known as An Ode to Thousands of Years of Horse Culture, was recently staged in Hohhot in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
A work in praise of thousands of years of equine culture, the drama was produced by the Inner Mongolia Bureau of National Arts Troupe and made its debut in 2014. It focuses on the life of ethnic Mongolian groups and their close relationships with horses.
Adding fresh elements including a symphony and specials effects, organizers said the latest edition of the drama presents viewers with a stunning multidimensional show.
According to the local government, the performers will stage 114 shows across the country this year. To date, nearly 280,000 visitors from 20 countries including China, Russia, Mongolia, the United States, Germany, Singapore and India have watched the drama.
The drama won the golden award of the China Best Tourism Performing Programs at the 8th China Tourism Investment ITIA Awards ceremony held in March this year.
