The Inner Mongolia-Gomel Economic and Trade Forum was held in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on June 18.

Ai Lihua, vice-chairwoman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Belarusian Ambassador to China Kiryl Rudy attended the forum.

Ai Lihua said in her opening remarks that Inner Mongolia had established and maintained a close relationship with Belarus for years.

She expressed her hope that the two sides would join hands with each other to grasp the  opportunities that will continue to come from advancing the Belt and Road Initiative across the world.

Kiryl Rudy said during the meeting that he would like to see more cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in trade and business, husbandry and in manufacturing.

Other senior officials from Gomel and Inner Mongolia also expressed their desire for close links and their desire to work together for common development.
