A prairie-themed wedding festival adhering to the Mongolian ethnic group's wedding traditions was held on the Huhtala Grassland in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Aug 25 as part of the 2nd China Horse Culture Festival and the 1st Inner Mongolia International Horse Culture Expo. A traditional Mongolian group wedding ceremony for 70 young couples was held during the event.

 At the ceremony, Mongolian elders offered their blessings to 70 newlywed couples and many senior couples share their own experiences and offered advice to the new couples.
