Hohhot launches bullet train linking with Taiyuan
Hohhot in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region is adding bullet trains linking with Taiyuan -- capital of North China’s Shanxi province -- starting on July 1, according to local media reports.
The D2794 train service will have a total of 13 stops including Hohhot, Datong and Taiyuan. The total journey from Hohhot to Taiyuan will take 5 hours and 24 minutes and it will take around 2 hours and 37 minutes to get to Datong from Hohhot.
The D2798 service has nine stops and takes 4 hours and 44 minutes to complete the whole journey. From Hohhot to Datong, it will take around 2 hours and 22 minutes.
