An agreement for the project was signed by the Hohhot municipal government and officials for the new school on March 31 last year. Officials said the project is a move to jointly promote the balanced development of high-quality educational resources and the modernization of education in regions inhabited by ethnic groups.
The Hohhot campus, located in Yuquan district, will accommodate a full-time public high school with a planned construction area of 127,900 square meters and 78 teaching classes.
