Each exam venue is thoroughly disinfected before the annual gaokao exams in Hohhot, capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 6. This year, a total of 21,400 students in Baotou are sitting the gaokao, also known as the National College Entrance Exam, considered one of the most important exams in China.
