Hohhot promotes projects in South China's Shenzhen

Officials from Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, promoted the city’s major projects at a promotional event held in Shenzhen, in South China’s Guangdong province on Aug 10, according to people.com.cn.
Yun Xinming, deputy mayor of Hohhot, gave a briefing on Hohhot’s economic and industrial development.
According to Yun, Hohhot is a national historical and cultural city and is known as China’s Dairy City.
In recent years, Hohhot has increased its industrial transformation and upgrading.
Dairy, modern energy and the chemicals industry, solar power materials, biopharmaceuticals, big data cloud computing and other specialist industrial clusters are continuing to develop and grow, Yun said, creating a raft of development prospects and opportunities.

Yun gave a detailed presentation on five major investment promotion projects in Hohhot -- the Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park, Hohhot Science and Technology City, New Energy Automobile Industrial Park, China’s Dairy City Industrial Cluster Project and the Laoniuwan Tourist Area of the Yellow River Grand Canyon -- explaining their development plans, infrastructure, service concepts and related policy support.
In addition to the five projects, Hohhot has also presided over another 163 high-quality projects with a total investment of 400 billion yuan ($57.6 billion).
