Pangoal Institute debuts new office in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia

The Pangoal Institution held a launch ceremony on Aug 15 for a new office in Hohhot, the capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to local media reports.
Founded in 2013, the Pangoal Institution is a China-based public policy think tank that boasts the membership of some 350 prominent scholars and professionals from China and abroad.
The institute has a total of 14 research centers that focus on areas such as national research and non-governmental diplomacy along the Belt and Road, regional industries and the new economy, societal aging, 5G and the digital economy, macroeconomics and finance.
The establishment of the Pangoal Institute Qingcheng Office (Qingcheng is another name for Hohhot) is expected to promote the economic and social development of Hohhot and Inner Mongolia at large, effectively providing strategic guidance for local development.
