Mining development forum opens in N China's Hohhot

The 2020 (13th) China Mining Circular Economy and Green Mining Development Forum opened in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Sept 16, according to local media reports.
This forum invited academicians, industry experts, universities, mining companies, and ecological restoration companies to discuss environmentally-friendly mining operations and promote the role of big data in the sector's green development.
The forum was held both online and offline. A total of 185 domestic enterprises and institutions set up 156 sub-venues online.
Domestic enterprises including Guangdong Dongsheng Industrial Group and Shandong Gold Group gave special presentations on green mining development and green mine construction.
During the forum, attendees conducted field research of M•Grass Ecology's indigenous plant domestication applied scientific research system and ecological big data command system, and learned about case studies where ecological big data has been used to accurately guide mine and slope restoration, such as the Hohhot Daqingshan Mountain front slope restoration project.
