Hohhot launches sci-tech innovation center
Hohhot, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is to further promote technological innovation and talent recruitment with the Hohhot Science and Technology Innovation Center, which officially opened on Sept 25, according to local media reports.
The launch of the center was part of the eighth Inner Mongolia "Grassland Talents" High-level Talents Cooperation Conference, which kicked off in Hohhot on the same day.
The innovation center is located on South Horqin Road. It has a construction area of 67,800 square meters and a business incubation space of 40,000 square meters. It can accommodate more than 100 enterprises.
It will primarily attract enterprises that are engaged in research and development (R&D), production and sales of high-tech products, R&D institutions and innovation carriers, as well as enterprises that provide professional intermediary services for R&D and the industrialization of technologies, projects and products.
So far, the center has attracted more than 30 scientific and technological enterprises by providing preferential entrepreneurial policies, a superior technological innovation environment and innovation resources, including the Inner Mongolia Dairy Technology Research Institute, Inner Mongolia Sino-Kazakh Camel Research Institute and Inner Mongolia Chaopai Building Material Technology Co.
