Hohhot airport improves services with special channel
Hohhot Baita International Airport in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has set up a special channel for people without a valid health code, so as to provide more convenience for passengers, according to local media reports.
The measure targets elderly travelers who don't know how to use mobile phones, and travelers who didn't bring mobile phones or whose mobile phones are running out of battery.
Passengers must first show their ID cards and boarding passes.
After reviewing the information, the airport staff members will ask about the passengers' living and traveling conditions within the last 14 days.
If there are no abnormalities, passengers can pass through after having their information photographed and uploaded to the "Qingcheng Yunzheng" epidemic prevention platform.
The process takes about two minutes.
According to statistics, nearly 200 passengers need to use this process on a daily basis.
