Horinger New Area to add STO logistics park
The Inner Mongolia STO Smart E-commerce Logistics Industrial Park is to be developed in Horinger New Area in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, after a letter of investment intent was signed on Dec 11, according to local media reports.
The logistics industrial park, covering an area of 130 mu (8.67 hectares), will draw an investment of 300 million yuan ($45.9 million).
The project primarily includes the construction of the Inner Mongolia regional headquarters of STO Express, equipped with the most advanced intelligent cross belt sorting system in China.
The headquarters will included a comprehensive office building, STO Express intelligent mail and express processing center, integrated warehouse and distribution center, e-commerce service center, and call-in service center.
After the project is put into production, the annual operating income is expected to reach 100 million yuan.
While focusing on the development of express delivery business, STO Express will also make full use of the advantages of big data, network bandwidth, and electricity in Horinger New Area, and actively promote the construction of corporate big data centers, call centers, and e-commerce service centers.
