Hohhot issues 2.84b yuan poverty alleviation funds in 2012-2019
From 2012 to 2019, Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, issued poverty alleviation funds totaling 2.84 billion yuan ($654 million), according to Hohhot Daily.
The city has created 2.04 billion yuan in poverty alleviation assets.
It has formulated its "Management Plan" and "Hidden Risk Investigation Ledger", established a leading group, and set up an organization to implement their management, so that poverty alleviation funds will continue to exert potential benefits.
Since the beginning of this year, 524 million yuan has been allocated to special poverty alleviation funds from various levels of finance, 490 million yuan has been arranged to implement 276 projects, and 190 projects have been completed.
The city has also strengthened the management of poverty alleviation assets, and focused on strengthening risk management to tap asset benefits. It has completed substantive public welfare, business, and household management accounts at the county, township, and village levels.
