Hohhot holds launch ceremony for 26 major projects

A total of 26 major construction projects covering areas such as medical and health, the logistics industry and food processing were launched in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on April 2, according to Inner Mongolia Daily.
In recent years, Hohhot has made every effort to promote major construction projects and expand effective investment.
This year, the city plans to implement 336 government investment projects worth more than 50 million yuan ($7.64 million) each, as well as enterprise investment projects worth more than 100 million yuan each.
Of the 336 government investment projects, 135 are new projects and 201 are ongoing projects.
The total investment of the 336 projects stands at 359.3 billion yuan, and the annual planned investment for the year 2021 is 58.31 billion yuan.
To date, construction has started or resumed on 163 projects, with a resumption rate of 48.5 percent, which is 20.4 percentage points higher than that of the wider autonomous region. An investment of 3.56 billion yuan has been completed so far.
