The Hohhot Minzu College Huawei Cloud Academy Kunpeng Center was officially established on July 13 in Hohhot – capital city of Inner Mongolia autonomous region – marking the first Kunpeng talent training center launched by Huawei Technologies Co, according to local media reports.

The event also marked the 11th Kunpeng talent training center launched by Huawei in China. The Kunpeng computing industry is based on the Kunpeng processor designed and produced by Huawei. It encompasses personal computers, servers, storage, operating systems, virtualization, databases, cloud services, industrial applications and consulting and management uses.

The center will rely on technologies such as the Huawei Cloud, big data and artificial intelligence, combined with the college's training programs and syllabus.

The aim is to train people in the Kunpeng computing industry and help the development of the information technology industry in the autonomous region.
