A total of 11 major projects worth a combined 85.7 billion yuan ($13.25 billion) were signed by officials from Hohhot city – located in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – during an investment promotions event there on July 20, according to local media reports.

More than 700 representatives of leading private enterprises across the country gathered at the event to coordinate development plans.

Agreements on 138 projects were signed by 12 leagues and cities in the autonomous region.
