Hohhot promotes university innovation, entrepreneurship

Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is developing a demonstration area for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and two bases for innovation and entrepreneurship at colleges and universities, according to local media reports.
The demonstration area and bases, located in Horinger New Area, will make use of the digital platform advantages, policy advantages, and industrial advantages in the new area, as well as talent resources in Hohhot-based universities to build a technology transformation platform that integrates supply, demand, intermediaries, and capital.
Through the integration of advantageous resources in the new area from universities and enterprises, the demonstration area and two educational bases will provide market players with technology transfers, project financing, industrial incubation and other technological achievements in the form of full value chain services, and enhance the technological innovation capabilities of enterprises as well as optimize the innovation environment.
