The Hohhot Science and Technology Innovation Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was officially launched in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Oct 8, according to local media reports.

The science and technology innovation center will focus on the transfer and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, as well as industrial incubation, pilot-scale research, technical services and personnel training.

The center is expected to become a center of innovation that can serve the whole country, and provide strong scientific and technological support for the high-quality development of the regional economy.
