Negative nucleic acid test from last 48 hours required to enter, leave Hohhot
Starting on Oct 28, all passengers leaving or entering Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, are required to present green health codes and negative nucleic acid test results issued within 48 hours of departure.
Passengers who do not pass health code verification or cannot provide evidence of a negative nucleic acid test from within the last 48 hours will not be allowed to board a plane, train or coach.
Hohhot has set up nucleic acid testing points at Hohhot Baita International Airport, two railway stations and coach terminals.
The city has also set up 21 highway inspection points. All those entering and exiting are required to have their temperatures taken, present health codes, and provide nucleic acid test reports from within the last 48 hours.
All departing persons who do not meet the inspection requirements are advised to return, and all returning persons shall be transferred and resettled in a timely manner.
In addition, Hohhot will carry out its second round of large-scale nucleic acid testing in key areas of the city on Oct 29-30, covering areas such as Xincheng, Huimin and Yuquan districts, and Tumd Left Banner.
As of 5:00 on Oct 28, the first round of nucleic acid testing in key areas of Hohhot was over, and the test results were all negative.
As of 10:00 on Oct 28, Hohhot has had no new local confirmed cases, suspected cases or asymptomatic infections of COVID-19 for four consecutive days.
