Two major projects start operating in Hohhot city
Two major projects recently started operating in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with a joint launch ceremony held on Jan 15, according to local media reports.
The CP Group's Inner Mongolia Food Processing Project is regarded as being an important support factory for the company's Inner Mongolia pig industry supply chain.
The plant cost 1.3 billion yuan ($205 million) and it covers an area of 380 mu (25.3 hectares)
The facility was reportedly constructed in two phases. The first phase focuses on an intelligent slaughtering and processing plant, while the second phase focuses on food processing and has a central kitchen with an annual design output of 200,000 metric tons.
The second project to start operating – the eighth phase of the Mengniu China Dairy Industrial Park – cost 2.1 billion yuan and it will have a projected annual output value of 5 billion yuan.
