Hohhot begins 5th round of citywide nucleic acid tests

Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, reported 199 confirmed local cases of COVID-19 as of 14:00 on Feb 22, the city responding the next day by launching its fifth round of citywide nucleic acid testing, according to local media reports.
Currently, the patients are receiving treatment in designated hospitals.
As of 14:00 on Feb 22, there were three high-risk areas in Hohhot, 63 medium-risk areas and 81 communities and villages under closed management.

At present, the supply of vegetables, fruit, meat and other food in the city is said to be sufficient and stable, and major markets have undertaken measures to ensure a continuous supply.
In addition to large supermarkets, convenience markets around the community are also functioning well. Residents who come to shop there can buy items as usual after showing their health code and taking a temperature measurement, as well as wearing a face mask.
The supermarkets and farmer markets are being disinfected on a regular basis, according to the city's COVID-19 prevention and control requirements.
