The 10th Chinese Exposition of Museum and Relevant Products and Technologies will be held from Aug 23 to 26 at the Chilechuan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
This year's expo is themed High-Quality Development of Museums: Balancing Education and Research, Merging Digital and Reality. The event is co-hosted by the Chinese Museum Association and the Hohhot municipal government, with support from the Inner Mongolia Department of Culture and Tourism.
Launched in 2004, the Museum Expo is one of China's most influential cultural events, Asia's largest museum-focused exhibition, and one of the world's top three museum industry expos.
This year's expo features 552 exhibitors and covers over 50,000 square meters. The event will showcase the latest achievements in museum development, with five major exhibition areas: national museum achievements, cultural enterprises, Inner Mongolia's cultural heritage, museum digitalization, and cultural and creative products.
The expo will also host one main forum and eight academic conferences, bringing together leading experts and scholars in the museum field to discuss the future of high-quality museum development.
