Hohhot's Chinese museum expo concludes, showcasing rich cultural heritage

The 10th Chinese Exposition of Museum and Relevant Products and Technologies concluded on Aug 26 in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. In four days, it attracted 350,000 visitors.
The expo offered an immersive journey through China's rich cultural heritage, highlighting how modern museums can blend history, culture, and innovation.
Visitors were captivated by the digital displays at various exhibits, including the Palace Museum exhibition hall, where they explored cultural relics in 360-degree detail. The Grand Canal Museum's interactive online exhibition also impressed visitors with its comprehensive historical narratives.

The event emphasized the importance of museums in preserving and distributing civilization's history while focusing on digitization and smart displays. The Museum Digitalization and Intelligence Exhibition Area showcased high-quality digital projects from 24 leading museums across China.
The expo also featured vibrant cultural performances, celebrating northern China's diverse and colorful heritage. Visitors, including first-time guests to Hohhot, were left with lasting impressions of the city's beautiful landscapes, clear skies, and rich cultural offerings.
