The Administrative Committee of Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone and Naxing (Ningbo) Semiconductor Co held a signing ceremony for the diamond thermal management materials industrialization project on Feb 9, a key step in their semiconductor materials cooperation.

The project involves a total investment of 120 million yuan ($16.43 million), including 100 million yuan in fixed assets. It is expected to achieve an annual output of 100 million yuan, generate approximately 7 million yuan in annual tax revenue, and create around 40 local jobs.

Launching this project will enhance the zone's semiconductor materials industry chain and strengthen regional industrial competitiveness.

Naxing (Ningbo) Semiconductor Co is an advanced manufacturing enterprise specializing in the research and production of MPCVD (Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition) equipment, which is widely used in the diamond semiconductor field. Backed by cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and talent resources from the Henan Academy of Sciences, the company has made remarkable progress in developing and producing large-size diamond wafers for thermal management applications.
