In celebration of the thawing of the Yellow River, the Sixth Togtoh County Yellow River Opening Festival took place on March 22 and 23 in the county's Hekou Tourist Resort. At the opening ceremony, traditional culture and modern creativity offered the audience a stunning audiovisual experience.
Capitalizing on the advantages of the low-altitude economy, fish were delivered by low-altitude vehicles, adding a hi-tech touch to proceedings. The opening dance, "Ancient River Town", vividly showcased Togtoh's deep historical and cultural heritage, with the grand chorus of "Ode to the Yellow River" bringing the atmosphere to a climax.
In addition to cultural performances, there were many exciting activities. Chefs showed off their skills at the "Togtoh County Stew Fish Competition", allowing visitors to witness traditional stewing techniques and taste delicious fish.
The festival also featured folk, food, and intangible cultural heritage activities, including traditional handicrafts such as paper-cutting, dough figurines, and embroidery. Folk artists were on-site to guide visitors in experiencing the charm of traditional crafts.
The Togtoh County Special Agricultural Products Exhibition and Sales Event also organized local farmers and agricultural enterprises to showcase their unique agricultural products.
