Yili Group made its seventh appearance at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025, reaffirming its commitment to innovation-driven development.
This year's forum, "Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future", gathered representatives from across Asia and beyond for in-depth exchanges, sharing insights and solutions for regional and global development.
In a sub-forum themed "How Enterprises Can Navigate Global Uncertainty", Wang Wei, Yili's executive president, shared the group's perspective, "Yili is a leading example in the dairy industry. In every wave of change, we've seized the opportunity for innovation and closely followed technological trends. We've enabled transformative progress across our entire value chain by empowering development with new technologies and forging new advantages through emerging drivers."
He noted that for a traditional industry like dairy to leap from humble beginnings to global strength, innovation and the application of new technologies have been essential, as has unlocking and unleashing productivity.
Guided by the philosophy of "from grass to glass", Yili continues to lead the industry in delivering higher-quality products and services to consumers and driving high-quality growth for the entire sector.
With a strong focus on quality and groundbreaking innovation, the company has overcome long-standing bottlenecks such as advanced dairy processing technologies and domestic development of milk-based ingredients. Some breakthroughs have surpassed previously monopolized foreign technologies, helping raise national nutrition standards and ensuring better nutrition for all.
