Intl journalists explore innovation, culture in Hohhot
The 2025 Travelogue of China International Media Communication Activity (Inner Mongolia Tour) Program started on May 12 in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Over the course of two days, more than 30 journalists from 20 countries participated in field visits and interviews.
At Yili Group's Future Intelligence & Health Valley, Koh Jun Jet, assistant news editor at Malaysia's Sin Chew Daily, held a bottle of Ambrosial yogurt, saying, "Ambrosial is hugely popular in Malaysia, and our consumers love it."
The journalists praised Hohhot's delicious beef and lamb, and were drawn to local delicacies like sesame oil pastries.
At M-Grass Ecology and Environment Group, innovative paths to grassland restoration were showcased through seed research and development and ecological restoration technologies. While touring the facility, Koh said, "This place stores seeds that are vital to the environment. What you're doing here is truly remarkable."
