Yili showcases cutting-edge infant nutrition research at ESPGHAN meeting
Yili Group participated in the 57th Annual Meeting of ESPGHAN in Helsinki, Finland, from May 14 to 17, presenting twelve groundbreaking research findings on human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), lactoferrin, and dietary fatty acids. The company also hosted a high-level symposium, drawing strong engagement from global pediatric experts.
A joint study by Yili, Tsinghua University, and the National Dairy Technology Innovation Center was among the eight highest-rated abstracts out of over 1,500 submissions. It was the only Chinese study to receive such a distinction. The research applied machine learning to decode human milk nutrition, identifying a DHA–EPA–DSLNT combination that precisely modulates maternal-infant gut microbiota.
Yili's clinical findings also demonstrated that its enhanced infant formula significantly supports growth, immune balance, and microbiota development.
The group's broader research collaboration with top Chinese universities explored the links between maternal emotion and infant brain-gut health, as well as the role of structured lipids in shaping infant cognition and metabolism.
Through its pioneering "Four-in-One" breast milk research model and AI-driven innovation, Yili continues to lead in precision nutrition. Its comprehensive infant formula portfolio reflects a deep commitment to scientific excellence and the lifelong well-being of children.
