The special funds for high-quality industrial development in Hohhot have been focusing on high-end, intelligent, and green industrialization since 2022. By concentrating limited resources on key areas, the initiative has fostered a "focused breakthrough and cluster-driven" development model. To date, a total of 357 million yuan ($50.44 million) has been disbursed.

In recent years, the Hohhot bureau of industry and information technology has established an "official channels + government-enterprise collaboration" system. On the one hand, the bureau's official website and other mainstream online platforms annually publish timely and authoritative guides for applying for special funds, clearly outlining the priority areas for funding and detailing the application process. On the other hand, the bureau has developed a policy handbook for enterprises, which includes various supportive policies and provides enterprises with precise and efficient policy guidance and services on a regular basis.

The Hohhot municipal government issued "10 Policy Measures to Promote New Industrialization Development in Hohhot" in March 2024, which were revised in 2025 to establish a more comprehensive policy support system for new industrialization. The evaluation for the 2025 special funds for high-quality industrial development projects has been completed, and over 73 million yuan will soon be allocated to eligible enterprises and projects.

The Hohhot bureau of industry and information technology will continue to focus on modernizing Hohhot, aiming to achieve new breakthroughs in building a modern industrial system and contributing to the high-quality development of the economy and society.
