Hohhot's Fourth Hasuhai Winter Fishing Festival and ice and snow tourism series will open on Jan 10, with an opening ceremony taking place from 9:30 am to 12:00 at noon.

Tumd Left Banner boasts a millennium-old tradition of winter fishing, with professional teams regularly conducting fishing activities. Saturdays and Sundays are often designated as experience days, when visitors can participate by booking in advance before winter fishing festivals. In the evening, there are also light shows.

Twelve ice entertainment activities will also be held as part of the festival. In "Treasure Hunting within Ice", gifts are frozen into blocks, and visitors who extract them within a set time can take them home for free. Ice fishing activities will also be held. Hasuhai Swan Fort Hot Spring Hotel will also offer hot spring pools, herbal wellness pools, and swimming pools, along with accommodations and full fish banquets.

Photography exhibitions, concerts, and food-tasting events are among the planned activities, providing a one-stop sightseeing, dining, and shopping experience.

Visitors can also purchase unique local products, including freshly caught winter fish, exquisite cultural and creative items that blend Hasuhai's ice and snow with fishing and hunting culture, and nostalgic-themed merchandise.
