The National Ethnic Affairs Commission held a meeting in Beijing on Jan 29 that saw Yili Group honored with the title of National Model Unit for Ethnic Unity and Progress.

Yili has developed the so-called "1234 Pyramid" model for Party building, which has been recognized as a "model example" in the non-public sector for such work.

The group has received numerous accolades, including the "Best Practice" case from the National Party Building Research Association.

Yili's Party Committee now oversees 96 grassroots Party organizations with over 6,800 Party members in total. In key areas like Hohhot city, Yili has established 13 industrial chain Party-building alliances.

Yili conducts ethnic unity and progress education and special activities through new media platforms such as WeChat public accounts and video accounts. It has also launched the "Yili Cute Star Student Milk with ethnic unity and progress quote-themed packaging".

Since 2020, Yili has invested nearly 30 billion yuan ($4.32 billion) to help farmers and herders increase their income and prosperity.

Through the "Yili Nutrition 2030" project, it has benefited children in 28 provinces and regions nationwide. Yili's public welfare projects have reached remote villages, lighting up the dreams of rural children.

In the event of natural disasters, Yili promptly delivers supplies and care to affected ethnic regions.
