Hohhot establishes nation's largest confidential token factory
In the Horinger New Area block of the Hohhot section of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Mobile Engine Confidential Model Service, jointly developed by China Mobile Intelligent Computing Center and Volcano Engine, has begun operations.
The facility has established the nation's largest-scale confidential token factory, achieving end-to-end encryption and full-process traceability for large-model inference and data transmission.
Built on a trusted execution environment, it creates an end-to-end encrypted confidential computing architecture that prevents unauthorized data access, model exfiltration, and guarantees traceability of all processes.
With tokens as the standard unit of measurement, the entire lifecycle of token production and settlement is completed in a closed loop within the pilot free trade zone, transforming premium computing power into standardized, independently operable products.
The full-link encryption system lays a solid foundation for expanding computing power and large models northward and radiating influence across Europe and Asia.
Computing infrastructure development in Horinger New Area is advancing in staged, continuous deployments. Hundred-thousand-card and two-hundred-thousand-card intelligent computing clusters are being expedited, supporting the national East Data, West Computing project.
