Huangshan Mountain – a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Anhui province – has been seeing a growing number of tourists, thanks to the effective containment of COVID-19 resurgences.

More and more visitors are streaming to the scenic spot, famous for its majestic scenery, unique geology, cloud-shrouded peaks and ancient pines. They topped 150,000 in July, according to the management of the scenic area.

Local authorities have rolled out a slew of stimulus measures to revitalize the tourism market. These include free tickets for students who took this year's college entrance exam or high school entrance exam and a 50 percent discount on ticket prices between June 9 and Aug 31, a busy tourist season.
