China's visa offices abroad will resume issuing all types of visas to foreigners on Wednesday to facilitate cross-border travels.
The Chinese government has been treating Chinese and foreign nationals on an equal and legitimate basis when taking novel coronavirus epidemic prevention measures.
To apply for a change of the J2 visa, the applicant shall be required to submit the certification letter issued by the foreign affairs office of people's government at the provincial level.
Foreigners intending to enter China shall apply for a visa, except the situations where there exists a visa exemption agreement or China grants a visa exemption.
Based on purposes for visa, Chinese visas include diplomatic visa, service visa, courtesy visa, and ordinary visa.
